All four musicians originally played as a unit in 1987 on Hiatt's breakthrough album Convey the Family. In that context, all just Hiatt were sidemen. Four long time subsequently they jointly wrote and recorded their self-titled debut CD. Although the record was a scrap of a disappointment, the lively shows were superb. |
